Since I have had it up to here with spambots abusing the webmail link on the main part of this domain, tomorrow will be spent transferring posts over and deleting SPIP in favour of (probably) Drupal. Farewell SPIP, you were fun while you lasted, and you’ll continue to serve on other sites, but sadly you’re no longer up to doing what I need anarchic-teapot.net to do while looking pretty. I’m not a graphist, nor do I have time to delve into the code and write my own skins. No hard feelings and I’ll still try to find time to help with the project.
As far as this part of the site is concerned: old posts that reflect a situation at a certain point in time will be reposted with the original date. Something that’s still of actuality, or gets updated because I can’t resist it, will get reposted with the current date.
Stuff that doesn’t convey sufficient information to make the switch will disappear into the whirling vortex of the Internet, where its ghost may forlornly haunt Google’s cache for countless days, perhaps even months or years. Why do Google bother to cache all this crap for so long anyway?
So, probably no new posts (unless something really gets me going) for a couple of days. I have work to do as well. I should do some.
